VMWare Fusion 2.0 Mac Crashing on MacPro Machines
VMWare Fusion 2.0 Mac Crashing on MacPro Machines
Solution
When attempting to run either a 32bit or 64bit operating system the virtual environment may crash upon launching. If this is the case please do the following:
Stick this line in the VM's config file: monitor.virtual_exec = "software"
Open the .vmx file that defines the Virtual Machine using Text Edit and add that line to the end.
